The heart of Christianity is to participate in the opportunity we are given to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God the Father, and God the Holy Spirit.

Personal daily prayer is the cornerstone of this effort. A good pattern to follow is to spend time in the morning and the evening praising God, giving thanks to God, examining and confessing our faults, praying for others, and then praying for ourselves. You can also say the Daily Office from the prayer book.

Sunday Worship is less about getting your personal "time away from it all" and more about joining with your Christian community as the Body of Christ in the world. Corporate worship is a unique opportunity to come together with other Christians and "Worship the Lord in beauty and holiness." -Psalm 96:9
